Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 524
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
How have you been this past week? I feel like some of my days are super happy and upbeat, while some have me wanting to crawl under the covers with a bag of chips and a couple cats and binge watch Netflix. And I’m trying to be ok with that…
But I’m happy to report, I’ve been doing a few things around the house that are new to me and long overdue, such as put up a light and fix a sliding door. And deep cleaning again…
Action is just such a good motivator! If I feel myself slipping, I get up and clean… and in no time I appear to be plugged in for more. All I know is, I feel better when my mind is active and learning something.
What’s helping fuel you these days?
And I’m curious… I haven’t really done personal updates lately. Is this something you’d like to hear more of on the blog from time to time?
But hey… I did make something cool too!
I challenged myself to come up with a project that an entire family could do together, but this one can also entertain for hours after as well! What a win! All made from scrap wood. Now to teach the cats to play with me… LOL
So let’s see what you’ve been up to! Here’s some fab features from last week’s party…
DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 524 features:
Industrial AND useful gets my vote! What a cute project and so original! Click the link to learn how!
If you love seed packet art, you’ll ADORE this project! I promise you… you can do this because Deb is using materials you likely have. She’s just personalized them! Click the link for the fab details!
Who else has long adored bead garlands? Well, now you can MAKE one from scratch! This project is so price efficient and beautiful! Full instructions on making the tassel is included!
Ya know, I’m starting to think I should challenge myself to make a ‘party project’ each week… and this could become one…
While this isn’t a repurpose per say, it is a great project! My own home use to be littered with these controllers all over the coffee table but here’s a clever way to organize them! Love this tutorial that walks you through every step!
If boho chic is your thang, and you have a little denim and beads on hand, consider yourself on your way to this adorable wind chime idea! SO original! Click to learn how!
With garden season firing up, perhaps your own garden could also be spruced up with a little double sided hanging garden sign? I love this! Now to land a hanger! Click the link to learn all the details, which also includes the stencil link.
