Welcome to Party Junk 252 – All About Pallets

Every Friday, 7PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific

Hello, hello friends! Welcome to a special edition of Party Junk, celebrating All About Pallets!

Most of you know by now my love for the stuff. It isn’t so much about the pallet itself… it’s about the weathered wood. Where else can you find something so authentic and economical than from a lowly pallet?

My hunger for pallets fired up because of their (free) price. And while I didn’t intend to be following a trend, they became one anyway. Who knew.

Well, that won’t stop me from harvesting the coolest wood on earth. So here’s my own little self help guide to all things pallet…. with 50+ pallet projects linked up below! Bring yours over too!

  1. Your pallet designs always amaze me. And what I wouldn’t give for a metal storage unit like the one you found to organize your pallet wood stash. Congrats on saying goodbye to your day job and pursing you passion full time. All the best and continued success.

    • Hi Jen! You could indeed use pallet wood! Just screw a cross brace (board) across the back, upper and lower and screw from the back so the screws don’t show. As for the design… that design has a very hand done look, so you could either somehow project the image onto your surface, trace and paint or do it freehand. It’s adorable!

  2. Hi Donna,
Thanks so much for hosting this party. I am so glad I was able to link up. I have been busy moving my daughter into her dorm room. That was so hard to do. I guess I need to get busy creating stuff. Maybe, it will keep me from missing her so much. I hope you have a wonderful week.

  3. Hi Donna … Always love your projects … especially reclaimed wood.
So many helpful projects in this party. Thanks for always being here for us to link up and party.
