DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 333
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Greetings, junk lovers!
Where did the week go? I’m starting to lose track!
But I have been attempting to get caught up with the outdoor gardening a little here and there. I haven’t blogged about everything done yet because… how exciting is it to just pull weeds?
But I did start THIS fun, new update on my poor little rustic shed that needed help.
And the NYC journal continues with part 2 – where we tackle the big scary city all on our own for the first time… includes the infamous Macy’s wooden escalator… and drama. 🙂
So while I get back to my shed revamp and weeding, and other over the top exciting things (you’ll see soon!), here are some GORGEOUS highlights from last week’s party…
Vintage bike crate window box, by Knick of Time
Angie had me at crate. No wait… vintage bike. BOTH. I adore this flower box crate flower stand idea so much, I’m nearly convinced to paint my rusty bike and try it too… hmmm… maybe it will look nice against rust… I think it’s worth a try!
Vintage Doily Cloche Covers by Sadie Seasongoods
Sarah never ceases to amaze. I mean, would you have even remotely thought to shape a thrift store doily into a cloche?! Seriously gorgeous!
How to age terra cotta pots, by Setting for Four
I love clay pots, but there are those times when all you can find are the brand new variety. Here’s what you can do to tame the new down… pretty!
DIY toolbox styled beverage caddy for Father’s Day, by My Creative Days
I love the fact that this is a reclaimed wood toolbox that can be used for anything anyway, but what a great way to wrap up a beverage gift! Fill mine with ice cold ginger-ale or hot coffee please… no, both!
Upcycled door and sink outdoor party buffet, by Hunt & Host
This is what happens when you marry an old door with an old sink… Oh my goodness… the after photos in this post are worth the click alone!
Picket fence dog bowl station, by Hunt & Host
I love how Kim was able to turn a need into something so cool. Lucky (junker) dog… I may have to treat my cats to a short one…
Upcycled vintage laundry tub outdoor bar by Scavenger Chic
I’m sure many of us can think of 101 ways to use these sweet vintage laundry tubs. But I especially LOVE this project, because it doesn’t require building, you can do it in 30 seconds, and still use the tubs for something else once you’re done. Not everything has to be permanent, and this proves that point perfectly.
You guys sure make my blog look pretty.
So, what did you make this past week?
