DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 348
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Well, what a week it’s been.
I’m glad I hustled on my boy’s bedroom with gutting it, then painting that ceiling for a few days, because shortly after that, a tooth took a turn for the worst, in which emergency surgery was needed. My first necessary implant is on the way. And $$$$Yikes.
Also landing a cold at the same time, it pulled me into bed and a cushy chair for a few days. So I’ve been hovering online with my phone on occasion, but doing little else. Netflix got used, and I started binge watching Ellen. It’s been nice to have a little downtime I suppose, but I’m REALLY eager to create again.
It’s also our Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend, so at some point we will make our way to find a fabulous homemade styled turkey dinner somewhere in town. It’s tradition. When my mom stopped cooking due to not being able to, we always went out instead. We are keeping that up, in order to have more time for family, rather than kitchen duty. Which is not my thing anyway, so I’m happy to keep this one going! 🙂
These weekend party posts are turning into my weekly diary, have you noticed that? Thank goodness I have this structure built in, otherwise I’d probably still be nursing the ‘ol jaw instead of being inspired by you!
Ok, all caught up here, so let’s see what you made last week…
Industrial farmhouse reclaimed wood and pipe coffee station, by Knick of Time
So many reasons to love this one… chalkboard, pipes, reclaimed wood, coffee sign, fry baskets. and of course, COFFEE! Love this, Angie!
Paper fall leaves wreath on an old window, by My Creative Days
While real leaves are nice, here’s a way to create your own instant fall wreath that will never wither, with whatever paper you may have on hand. This could work well with plaid or fall fabrics too! Oh the possibilities…
Coffee table tray top, by Scavenger Chic
This little wicker table had lost its glass top, but Joan guides you through a tutorial that is so cool, you’ll want to remove your good glass to achieve this!
She’s also done another post that showcases making a coffee table around an old shutter HERE.
Pallet wood cubby styled bookshelf, by Kammy’s Korner
Oh, all the fun things this little pallet wood shelf could do! Hold spices, plants, plates, notes beside a phone. How about lining them up along an entry for kid’s coats and their school paper work? Really love this idea!
Vintage pant hanger turned belt organizer, by Sadie Seasongoods
I mean, if you’re going to hang belts up anyway, why not hang them on a hanger? This is pretty enough not to hide in some closet. Mount on a wall, and you’re done!
DIY wine rack crate, by Live From Julie’s House
If you have a plain metal wine rack, THIS one’s for you! So much more beautiful and productive as a side table on wheels, crate style. I’ll never see a boring wine rack the same way ever again.
Wood slice fall AUTUMN banner, by Knick of Time
Just when you thought you didn’t have time to decorate for fall, this project will prove you wrong. Visit the post to see what the letters are… this can be done in minutes! Rustically adorable.
Antique vintage ironing board coat hooks, by Organized Clutter
Isn’t this gorgeous? From the tones, to the design, totally smitten over this coat hook idea, made with 2 of my stencils. All the details are in the post.
So, what did you make or do this past week? Link up below!

5. No need to link back! I’d love it if you’d pin the top graphic instead. 🙂 Thank you!

Thank you for featuring my belt hanger! It is admittedly as simple and “duh!” as they come. 🙂

Thank you so much for featuring my wine rack end table! It’s one of my favorite projects. 🙂
Donna I know how expensive a tooth implant is, but thank the good lord you can come up with the money to have it done. I hope your cold is about gone, I haven’t had a cold in 10 years or longer, thank goodness (knock on wood) I just don’t get them often, but when I do they are doozies.
Love the features this week, they are wonderful. Thanks Donna for all you do to teach and inspire us because that is exactly what you do and I am so grateful, plus we have a little fun to.
Hi Donna,
Good luck with your implant. I will be seeing the dentist on Monday myself for one. Love your blog! Many awesome ideas….
Thanks for the party, Donna 🙂 Hope the rest of your weekend is great–
PS Happy Thanksgiving and hoping all goes well with your implant–I’m in the middle of my second (sigh).
Ouch yikes, so sorry to hear about your tooth Donna. Hope all goes well and that you feel better soon. Happy Thanksgiving and thank you so much for your awesome party.
Hi Donna … glad your week is going better. Sorry about the dental problem. Glad you felt like bringing this interesting party to you.
Gosh … just so much talent, it will take me awhile to look at it all.
Thank you.
Blessings,
