DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 366
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Happy weekend, friends!
Where did the week go?
No idea!
But I did manage to get some ‘boring’ cleaning done again. But this round, I’ve adopted a new stance on it so it ISN’T SO boring… I call it One New Thing. Does this trick work for you?
I also showcased our most recent ice storm. We made headlines! And my shed was worthy of a Frozen 2 appearance…
Thankfully all our snow is officially gone of just today. So due to a slight case of cabin fever, I’ve featured LOTS this weekend. I hope you don’t mind scrolling… 🙂 But seriously, it’s getting increasingly hard to NOT include everyone… because you’re all just that good.
Here are some of MANY MORE outstanding highlights from last weekend’s party…
Mini laundry room ironing board turned shelf, by Organized Clutter
Now we know why mini ironing boards were invented. Adorable! And perfectly themed with part of my own Laundry stencil! All details in post.
p.s. Someone should have thought of ‘mini shelves’ for this first! Maybe I’d own some by now… haha (not into ironing obviously!)
Galvanized window valance, by The Magic Brush
Junkers can’t help but be hypnotized with a window valance like that! What a fabulous eye draw!
Works so well with the lovely deep wall colour as well. Swoon…
Repurposed window bulletin board, by Grillo Designs
I’ve gone to elaborate lengths to cover bulletin board material. Why didn’t I just think of THIS?
Numerically, crate styled perfection!
DIY barn quilt wall art, by Knick of Time
Dear Angie, thank you for the wonderful memories of the deep South you just threw my way, with these lovely barn quilt renditions. LOVE them on the wood! Check out her fab cheater method, making this DIY effortless.
Cereal box succulent planters, by Lolly Jane
What?!
That’s exactly what I said when I saw these sweet planters. The materials used will stun you.
Makes me dream up all kinds of gift giving themes… endless possibilities!
DIY paper map roses, by Pillar Box Blue
“I love travelling”, said the map infused roses. What a lovely idea! I’ll take the Maui variety, please!
Rolling pin window valance, by Thrifty Rebel Vintage
If this photo didn’t make you smile, you may be very overdue for a vacation. Oh. My. Goodness!
Sweet, vintage inspired window treatment, or just a clever way to hang your kitchen gear!
Folding screen painted makeover, by Confessions of a Serial DIYer
Just. Gorgeous! I love how the screens were pared off with stripes vs. designs. What a perfect drywall breaker upper component. Or even a pretty headboard…
Storage shelf from a crib! By My Love 2 Create
Oh my goodness… I never saw this one coming. Puts new meaning to repurposing a crib, that is for certain! So clever!
Creating farmhouse styled old signs, by A Vintage Green
Joy made me joyful with this fun variation of different farmhouse styled signs, made from my stencils.
This splash of black on red makes me want to plunk some red geraniums in that crock, and install that sign right above them!
All details in post.
Growing oven baked clay hearts in pots, by Artsy VaVa
Did these sweet little hearts fool you into thinking they were made out of antique tin panels? Love these designs!
Repurposed ceiling fixture table lamp, by Ambient Wares
Do not throw out a ceiling fixture you no longer desire… flip it upside down to make a desk lamp instead!
So unbelievably clever, isn’t it?

Thanks so much for the feature, Donna. I can’t believe all the snow you got. The last few days we’ve had temps in the 50’s and 60’s and even hit 70 one day. I’m SO over winter, and hope we’ve seen the end of it this year. Happy weekend!
