Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 512

Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific

Happy Friday!

Well, with my apparent new-found cleaning gig I’m attempting, I haven’t carved out a whole lotta time for new projects. This week was about cleaning up paperwork and goodness gracious… best stay tuned for Monday’s post if you don’t want to believe your eyes on what my 3 VERY DEEP junk drawers turned my house into. You won’t recognize me. LOL

But I’m making some headway, and it’s feeling so good!

I also got on my bike 3 days in a row! It didn’t pour rain for a change and I got home within minutes of a rain storm hitting, so I’ll take what I can get. All I know is, it was slow and steady at first because I’m out of shape, but by day 3, I was so much stronger already and my mood was incredible! This girl needs her nature to keep tickin’ I’m afraid. Do you find movement does that for you too?

But I’m ecstatic to report, I did manage to crank out the cutest V day project….

Reclaimed wood Valentine’s Day banner by Funky Junk Interiors

I wasn’t sure one could make a successful banner out of reclaimed wood, but by golly it worked! With the help of a couple of my V day stencils. I’m smitten with it, and can’t wait to do a spring version now!

Good ‘ol freebie wood wins again!

So let’s peek in to see what you were up to from last week’s party…
