Greetings all!

This past week I was shuffling around some outdoor furniture trying to come up with a seating area with a table I had. It wasn’t working out, so right before listing the table to sell, I tried it on my patio, just in case. Well why didn’t I think of this sooner?! I ended up with a great new place to sit! However, the area looked so plain with no flowers in bloom quite yet. So I whipped something realistic up with things I had on hand…

Creating a realistic artificial flower arrangement on a budget

Not only did I end up with a new-to-me sitting area that I LOVE, the artificial flowers provided the perfect, homespun touch that softened up the area instantly! So I’m sharing my tips on how I flipped dollar store plants to look real!

I’m super pleased with my outdoor space, so now it just needs to get warmer please… I want to play more in the yard with the newer arbor additions but it’s been raining too much! But all too soon I’ll be wishing it was cooler out so I’m attempting to embrace what is and do a little more indoors. (other than my puzzle addiction that is…)

What is it about puzzles and rain? They just seem to go hand-in-hand, don’t you think? Such a calming effect with a fresh coffee by my side. They also help me focus, seemingly erase other worries and such. I love my winter puzzle hobby which I’ve written previously about HERE! Do you have one out too?

So until I have more to share, let’s check out this week’s upcycled project features from last week’s party, because boy are they inspiring!

  1. Thanks for another fabulous party, Donna! But my question is: How could you not think about putting that beautiful wicker woven table on your porch? It’s the perfect fit and looks gorgeous there! Love the planter you created, too! I thought they were real! All quite lovely!
