Greetings all!
This past week I shared a super fun, upcycled twist to a classic idea…
Coffee can herb garden on a fence
Upcycled kitchen tin can herb garden on a fence
I’ve always wanted a herb garden. So after being challenged to come up with a ‘live garden fence’, that’s when I grabbed a few cans, embraced the colour coordinated coffee advertising and created an upcycled herb garden with a coffee vibe!
And know what? This little herb garden is THRIVING. Come on over and take in why I think that is!
I’m also drafting up a new blog post on how I made the DIY stepping stones you saw in my garden post reveal HERE, plus I also made some 4th of July ideas that I’m debating on trying to get up before the big day!
In curbside finds, I landed a HUGE rickety old bench, then right after I ended up with full grown daisies in full bloom, so now I’m building a new flower bed surrounding the bench in the garden! Cannot wait to play more on that over the weekend before our heat returns. If you wish to stay up to date on what I’m playing with, be sure to follow me on Instagram in stories HERE to see the very latest!
It’s definitely a garden year in my neck of the woods. Are you going full throttle outside this time of year too?
I hope you share what you’re up to in this weekend’s linkup! So let’s get the party started with some unique upcycled project features from last week’s party then get onto the new!

Summertime hanging yogurt flower jars
Hanging yogurt flower jars by Steph Creates Things
Have a few windows that could use a summer touch? Grab some yogurt jars to create these beautiful hanging flower vases that are just the cutest! Love how the sunlight appears to illuminate the look! Such a pretty summery idea that won’t darken up your windows!
Travel-themed tote bag summer display
Aloha tote bag entry decor by Homeward Found Decor
Thanks to a fabulous porch post loaded with entry hooks, this area gets decorated differently each season. And right now, it’s sporting an Aloha-themed travel look, loaded with bags, totes and everything in between! HOW FUN! But it’s more than just pretty. Come and find out how productive this display can be too!
Colourful faux snow cones for summer decor
Faux snow cone summer decor by Studio 27 By Jennifer Adams
If you’re after some fun summertime accents or to help decorate a celebration of sorts, consider whipping up a few faux snow cones in the colours you desire! This is so cute, and I love how you can colour-theme it to any occasion you wish!

Thank you for adding my glass yogurt jars to the featured posts. I appreciate it so much. I’m always happy to share here at your linkup. Have a great weekend.
Donna, thank you so much for including my ever-changing entry hall decor in your feature! I have so much fun ‘shopping my house’ every season to create new looks – it’s fun AND cheap!!! (wait… so am I! LOL)
I just LOVE your new ‘wall garden’ and wish I could replicate it here, but our triple-digit heat would fry everything planted in tin cans. Unless I use fake succulents – oh my, now you’ve inspired another possible backyard project! 😉
There’s plenty of vintage junk being repurposed in my gardens, too; the more the merrier! Thanks for hosting, Donna. Love you wall herb garden:)
