New Upcycle Ideas 674
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Greetings! This past week we’ve had rain. But I did manage one day of pressure washing right before it started, so yay me!
I’m just so super eager to get outdoor projects going again in a big way. I have my eye on two pretty nice resin wicker chairs from Home Depot (see HERE, affiliate link) I appear to really really need (but not really), which I just know will inspire other overdue projects! I even landed a gate on the curb that will make the cutest outdoor backdrop, much like I did this one year with a reclaimed wood backing HERE.
So hey, at least my dreams are great! The sun is due to come out next week so fingers crossed I can make some headway with my little bistro seating area plans.
Until then, I did update a few outdoor projects that are worthwhile to check out…
Pallet adirondack chairs
One is turning a couple of adirondack chairs into pallet-style. I just LOVE the outcome which is pretty astonishing if you check out the before!
If you’ve ever wanted to make your outdoor shed charming, this post throws together 20 easy upgrades you can make to add instant charm! And I know this post will grow because I just can’t seem to leave my own shed alone!
If you love the idea of window box planters on either a shed or your home somewhere, this easy tutorial shares how using just scrap wood! i just love how they enhanced my own shed and can’t wait to fill them up again this summer!
So here’s hoping I also win a draw for free strawberry plants today because THAT will get me building something fun for them and really get this outdoor party started!
Until then, I hope you enjoy the amazing features from last week’s party!

Sweater flower pots
She’s at it again! No sweater is safe when in the creative hands of Deb. But now she’s invented sweater flower pots! What?! Be sure to check out this tutorial because it’s SO cool. Doesn’t the grouping of flower pots with blooming faux flowers just make you want to smile?
DIY wooden bead dragonfly
Wow. This super cool wooden bead dragonfly is completely handmade. As in, even the wings, in which every detail is shown in the full tutorial. And how cool is it mounted to a chunk of driftwood?!
Packing paper wreath
For those who love reclaimed wood, this fabulous wreath that’s made with recycled packing paper will draw you right in! It really has a woodsy texture that would be so fun to customize! Check out how easy this is in the tutorial!
Clever cutting board wall pocket
One cutting board plus a denim pocket = one of the cutest and cleverest ways to create a wall pocket… literally! Such a neat idea since it has its own hanging apparatus right built in!
