Are you into guessing games? Whatever could this be?
And then there’s this… and where will it end up?
And then there are the true head scratchers… what contraption is growing here?
Well, you’re about to find out what I’ve been up to for ohh… the last month or so.
It’s been tricky blogging while making all this weirdness on the side and keeping it to myself. 🙂 No more sneaky sneak peeks. The real deal is on its way.. starting tomorrow!

“Good! It’s about time you do something cool with all this junk on my floor!”
I agree Mr. Lake. I so agree… now… help me clean up?
Yes… off the floor then hitting the snooze button solved everything…
I’m right behind you. 🙂
Well, I’m sitting here with my cup of coffee, here in Virginia, looking at all your 2012 and 2013 projects. I love them all and you have inspired me to use an old stepladder as well as two small artificial trees in a vintage crate. I can’t wait to see your 2014 projects. My house is more modern (my husband’s influence), but interestingly enough, my vignettes, either with rusty junk or shabby chic, or a mix of both…..it all works! I love your blog and ideas. Thanks.
CAN’T WAIT! LAURA
I am guess the first photo is going to be a funky Christmas tree made out of jar lids… Can’t wait to see the rest!!
Love the junk but LOVE the cats! I haven’t been able to start decorating yet. Still renovating upstairs. The plumber will be here to install the toilet, the vanity and the shower head. My girlfriend will be here tomorrow to help me finish painting and we are slowly moving things back upstairs. I did bring out my Christmas dishes, washed them and polished the hutch so I am on my way.
oohhhh donna…Your fur babies just get me every time. I don’t even remember what your blog was about this time, because Mr lake…he just took my breath away, then for them to turn their backs on us! So independent!! A great pic of Lake! Ok, I will wait and see what tomorrow brings with your stuff.
HAHA I should have just decorated my cats for Christmas each day! Maybe I’ll do that for a few… LOL
you are obviously younger than me and I am fortunate to still have my mother, so your explanation for your window mantle brought tears to my eyes. I so enjoy your decorating style and look forward to seeing this years 12 days.
I can’t wait to see all the ideas and projects! My inside decorating begins tomorrow and I always need lots of inspiration!
Just love your blog. My hubby and I make and sell shabby-chic furniture….benches and stools. I use lots of stencils so was thrilled to see you are going to start selling them. We love sign making and just made a few arrows as well. We live close to you, right over the border. Keep up the great work Donna. Thanks for all your inspiration!!!
