Rustic wood pumpkins made with branches… for free!
DIY wood pumpkins made with branches
I wanted to create another wooden pumpkin which I appear to do each year! However this round, rather than using wood blocks like my others, round branches or firelogs did the trick! These are SO fun and easy to make, and of course, that rustic woodsy vibe is hard to beat!
ADDED! Pumpkin project linkup below
I do love pumpkin projects! So I think it’s high time for a fresh new DIY pumpkin linkup added to our regularly scheduled linkup party so I can create a special pumpkin post showcasing your best of course! Feel free to load up your past, present and future pumpkin projects to land you some fresh visits!
In other news, while our weather is still hot (and smokey from nearby wildfires), the upcycled garden is showing signs of wrapping up. I pulled out half my tomato plants to start the clean up. The last of the blueberries are slowly ripening too, and I’m glad since my freezer is FULL. Yay to that!
It’s been a great summer, however I admit I’m looking forward to cooler weather with a dash of pumpkin spice everything along with indoor projects. The inside of my house needs a refresh before Christmas! Are you ready for a change too? Or still wishing summer would last longer?
Let’s now get ready for FALL with these fabulous features from last week’s upcycled party, then onto the new linkups!

Fall painted jars with an antique vibe
Painted fall jars by Creative Moments
If you’d like an instant dash of fall colour, consider reaching for paint to coat a few simple glass jars! Painted jars can be used for SO many things, size-depending! I like storing paint brushes and office supplies in them myself! However these jars that host an antique-vibe look wonderful just on their own, or fill them with coordinating cut flowers or grassy plants for a true fall foliage vibe!
Flowers in a fall tin can vase

Another way to get an instant fall look is to decoupage a tin can for this charming fall flower vase! The pretty leaves design teamed up with twine and beads couldn’t be more perfect for a quaint fall flower display tucked anywhere you wish!
