The cute little shed in the middle of fall wears fall well.
The canning jar lid wreath continues to rust away in the most perfect of ways.
Isn’t it interesting how some lids didn’t rust? I love the quirky mix!
The grapevine gone crazy is spectacular this time of year, wearing it’s vivid yellow self.
This rusty bike was found at my most recent junkin’ trip to Hope. The big plans are to bring it into the house. After it rusts a little more. 🙂
Even spent flowers play a part. I’m never in too much of a rush to cut things down. It’s nice to see what they become.
Lest you think I have it all figured out and every weed is pulled, this picture proves otherwise. But it doesn’t really seem to matter. The grapevine seems to know how to be the star of the show regardless.
This wheelbarrow planter was left on it’s own accord this summer. I just never got around to planting anything in it. But how pretty is this moss that just took over? I couldn’t bare to remove it.
The lobelia seem to like it just fine.
Welcome, fall! So nice to have you visit!
Nature sure knows how to paint a pretty picture, doesn’t it?
Here’s a shoot of the garden shed from this summer.
And here’s the garden shed tutorial.
I just love that little shed! I love when people don’t neglect other parts of their yards. Nice job!
Simplemente hermoso!
Donna, love the yellow grapevine! So pretty! The planted wheel borrow is beautiful, the moss looks like you planted it there! I need to put somethings outside to rust over the winter, I like the look of them so much better when they are worn. Have a great day!
The shovel! I love the photo of the shovel! Beautiful pics! laura
Donna, I wish I had your little shed. I need something to hang my treasures on. I have no wooden fences, no cute buildings, and my mobile home has plastic siding. 🙁 Next on my wish list is a sweet little building to use as my potting shed to consolidate all my gardening paraphernalia. When I leave a shovel leaning somewhere, my hubby gets after me. It never looks as sweet as your shovel does. Love your wheelbarrow…how kind of nature to take over the design where you leave off. We don’t have fall color here in central Texas, so seeing yours makes me horribly jealous. Enjoy your world today ! Hugs to the fur babies…. from me and mine.
Lovely shed Donna. Don’t you love autumn in the Lower Mainland, and what a wonderful autumn it’s been this year. 🙂
such captive photos of the shed and surroundings. I feel like I’m right there! Absolutely gorgeous. PS-I would love to have this little shed for my sewing room.
Hi Donna … your little shed looks so pretty whatever the season. Loved the Spring/Summer when the grapes were producing, but now the vines have done their duty and putting on a show for Fall. Lovely.
Thanks for sharing.

What a treat to visit your cute little shed! I’ve got a few outbuildings (chickens, tool shed, wood shed, etc) that I may have to put some rust on!! ~Karen
Loving fall! The photos make me want to take a trip to the mountains.
Wow! Where do you live? It’s beautiful there!
I loved every single thing about this post.
Everything is so gorgeous.
Stunning pictures, which camera do you use?
Hey Diane! I use a Nikon D3100. It’s a great DSLR starter camera. 🙂 Thanks for the kudos!
Just lovely!! I would not be able to pull out the moss from the wheelbarrow either! Still have a picture of your backyard as one of my favorite places I would like to be on my pinterest board. Happy Halloween!
Hi Donna! Just now able to go through all my emails since my surgery and am trying to catch up on your posts. Your shed is one of my favorites and these pictures are gorgeous as always. Hope you are doing great.
I really like the splashes of warm colors against the gray and green backgrounds. The yellow grape vine and the red flowers in the side flower box and coca cola sign really pop.
I’m new to your site but I’m really impressed with your unique funky junk style.
Like your junkin way of creating scenery Donna. Colorfull and rustic. Appeals to my creative nature thats been dormant and waiting to wakeup .
An idea for a planter in places that are lacking for space. Get an old piece of spouting . Attach it to a shed , garage or whatever wall. Drill a couple small holes in the bottom for drainage and put potting soil in it. Use your imagination from there .
Love that wheelbarrow!
